Our 4-star campsite La Roche Percée is an excellent starting point for visiting the South Finistère, the end of the road, where the earth ends. On the programme: fine sandy beaches, swimming, water sports, fishing ports, excursions to the islands, historical visits and gastronomic discoveries...
Quimper and the Cornouaille region
South Finistère is known for its wild landscapes but also for its beautiful cities of art and history and its small towns full of charm. First, linger in the historic centre of Quimper, the capital of Cornouaille. After visiting the magnificent Saint-Corentin cathedral, the rue Kéréon and the Musée départemental breton, walk along the flowery quays to visit the Henriot-Quimper faience workshops. If you are passionate about history and old stones, take a walk around Locronan. Classified as one of the "Most Beautiful Villages in France", this small town of character has managed to preserve its medieval village soul: the bluish-grey granite houses with sculpted dormer windows, the cobbled alleys, the 15th century church and the artists' and craftsmen's stalls make up a lovely film set. You can always expect to see a knight in armour appear at the turn of an alley!
The islands of Finistère, a taste of adventure
If you have chosen to rent a mobile home by the sea in South Finistère, you will not be able to resist the call of the islands ! Whether it is the Glénan, the island of Sein off the coast of the Pointe du Raz, or Ouessant, Batz and Molène further north, the "islands at the end of the world", each have their own identity and unique charm.
Escape guaranteed !
