Campsite Fouesnant-les-Glénan

Our campsite is located in the heart of the Breton Riviera and the Beg Meil village in South Finistère. Appreciated for its beautiful white sandy beaches such as Kermyl beach, its secluded coves and its turquoise sea, Beg-Meil is also a charming, relaxed and sporty seaside resort, which charms with its family atmosphere and its gentle way of life, which cannot be found anywhere else in Southern Brittany.

A short walk from the point to the Beg-Meil port

Between rocks and greenery, the Chemin Creux is a pretty walk along the coast. From the Pointe de Beg-Meil and its semaphore, it leads to the Beg-Meil port. At every turn of this intimate walk, the views over the bay are surprising. Magnificent manor houses and « Belle Epoque » villas remind us that Beg-Meil became a very famous Breton seaside resort at the beginning of the 19th century. During the summer months, the wealthiest families in the region, as well as politicians, artists and famous writers such as Marcel Proust and Sarah Bernhardt spend part of the summer here.

The Beg Meil fishing port and marina

Built in 1892, the port of Beg-Meil offers a safe shelter to fishermen sailing in this part of the bay. At the same time, the small seaside resort began to be very popular in South Finistère.

Nowadays, some coastal fishermen offer fresh fish and langoustines in season. Finally, since June 2021, it is now possible to embark towards the Glénan archipelago from the Beg-Meil slipway with the shipping company Les Vettes de l'Odet !

The Cap Coz beach and point

Located at the end of the bay, the Cap Coz beach is a fine sandy beach, a narrow strip of sand which ends in the east with a small rocky islet.

- Supervised beach during July and August.

- The beach has been awarded the "Blue Flag" label because it is recognised for the quality of its bathing water.

- The beach is accessible for people with reduced mobility.

The Mousterlin seaside resort

Located opposite the Glénan archipelago, the Mousterlin seaside resort is the favourite playground for shore fishing in family at low tide. The town is also known for its polders which allow you to discover a rich and preserved biodiversity. This is an opportunity to enjoy a magnificent walk between land and sea in family !

The mythical GR34 coastal path

With more than 1,800 km, it circles the Breton coastline. It was created during the Revolution to monitor the coastline and combat smuggling. Today, it allows walkers to discover exceptional sites. Rocky points, marshes, dunes, beaches, coves, visitors will be amazed ! The Roche Percée campsite is located only 300 metres from the coastal path from the Kerveltrec beach.
