What to do in Fouesnant when it rains?

Don’t let a few raindrops overshadow your vacation! As we all know, Brittany’s weather can be a tease. “We see the four seasons in one day”, goes one saying. Fortunately, the area around **** La Roche Percée is full of things to do when the sun isn’t shining!
Bowling
Here’s an idea that saves the day when it rains! Just 20 minutes from the campsite, Concarneau’s Metropolis Bowling Laser welcomes you to a large, sheltered complex with 8 bowling lanes and even a laser game in an ultra-futuristic setting. No room for boredom! And after all, it’s a nice change from the beach!
Visit a museum
Rainy day, happy day! It’s the perfect opportunity to visit the many museums located around the campsite. The Musée de la Pêche (Fishing Museum) in Concarneau will give you a surprising and enjoyable insight into the world of fishing. The Musée de la Faïence in Quimper and the Musée de Pont-Aven, with paintings by Paul Gauguin, Émile Bernard and Paul Sérusier, are also worth a visit.
Discover a Breton cider or cookie factory
Close the umbrellas, wake up your taste buds! The Breton cookie makers of Fouesnant and Bénodet open the doors of their factory outlet. You’ll find a wide range of authentic Breton products: crêpes, traditional cakes like the famous Kouign-Amann, galettes, palets, madeleines, salted butter caramel… Another favorite is the Cidrerie de Menez-Brug in Beg-Meil (Fouesnant), which offers free guided tours and tastings from June to September!
Dry fun for the kids!
When it rains, it can get really complicated with the kids! Just a 10-minute drive from our campsite, the Djoomba Land indoor playground is the ideal refuge for families: labyrinth course, giant spiral slide, trampolines, zip wires… there’s plenty for kids to do without getting wet!
Visit an aquarium
To feel like you’re on vacation despite the rain, there’s nothing like a trip to the aquarium! Take the opportunity to visit Océanopolis in Brest, 1 hour’s drive from the campsite. It’s one of the biggest aquariums in Europe and a must-see tourist attraction in Finistère. So it’s bound to get crowded on rainy days… In which case, you can choose the Aquashow in Audierne, between Quimper and the Pointe du Raz: 150 species to observe in over 50 aquariums, perfectly recreating the diversity of the Breton seabed.
