Sport and relaxation at the campsite: a fitness routine to keep you in shape in Fouesnant this summer!

Wondering what sporting routine to adopt this summer during your camping holiday in Fouesnant- Les Glénan? Here are some ideas for an active vacation in South Finistère.
Walking, the most popular sport
Sport walking is a simple, accessible and free activity that is gaining increasing popularity among our campers. A daily 30-minute session offers countless benefits for body and mind. From our campsite, the coastal paths and tracks of the Pays fouesnantais offer plenty of opportunities to cover kilometers in a spirit of pleasure and discovery.
Vacations in running mode
Would you like to continue your training over the vacations, or take advantage of your stay in South Finistère to get back into the swing of things? There’s nothing better than a tourist jog! Starting from the campsite, a 12 km loop with no particular difficulty allows you to run along the seafront, passing Beg Meil beach, the polders and the Pointe de Mousterlin.
Yoga on the beach
Take advantage of your seaside vacations this summer to discover yoga on the beach. The postures practised on the sand allow you to work all the muscles of the body, strength, flexibility, balance and, of course, concentration. A half-hour session will give you a zen and relaxed start to the day. Another variation is SUP yoga, or yoga on the water on a stand-up paddle board!
A little sport on the campsite
All summer long, the atmosphere at our campsite is one of sport. In the mornings, you can take part in aquagym sessions to sculpt your figure and have fun at the same time. If you prefer a more invigorating activity, the counter-current swimming area will allow you to combine sport with relaxation! We also offer paddles and kayaks for hire. The Beg Meil beach in Fouesnant is just 400 m away for all your sporting and water sports activities.
Mountain biking on the rocks
Have you heard of mountain bike trials? It’s all about climbing rocks with your bike, a complete and spectacular sport that requires a bit of technique. The activity is not without risk, but if you’re comfortable on a mountain bike (with very good tires and no rear suspension), there’s nothing to stop you from giving it a try!
Want to get your kids into sports?
Got sporty teenagers in the family? Then head for Kerambigorn beach in Beg-Meil, just a stone’s throw from the campsite. Clubs and associations offer sports courses and activities for teenagers aged 12 to 17. Supervised by qualified instructors, your young athletes can let off steam at soccer, beach rugby, beach volleyball and sandball tournaments organized on the sand, or learn to paddle and sea kayak. Sail your youth!
