Focus on the Fouesnant Sailing Club
Located on the Cap Coz beach in Fouesnant, the Centre Nautique de Fouesnant Cornouaille is one of France’s leading sailing schools and Finistère’s leading nautical spot. Supervised by qualified instructors, in private or small group lessons, introductory or advanced courses, you’ll have the chance to sail a catamaran, dinghy, windsurf, stand-up paddle or sea kayak off the coast of Beg-Meil, with the Glénan archipelago in the background! For the record, Michel Desjoyeaux, one of the world’s most successful solo sailors, was himself a member of the Club de Voile de Fouesnant! In other words, you’ve come to the right place! The Centre Nautique Fouesnant Cornouaille is also a sailing and competition center, with a team of some forty racers who train all year round on catamarans and windsurfers. Every year, the nautical center organizes regional, national and even international competitions, such as the European Laser in 2017.
