With its seaside atmosphere, pretty sandy beaches, lively marina, casino and renowned marine spa, Bénodet has everything you need to spend a pleasant day on the Breton Riviera!
A day at the beach… a real seaside vacation!
While our seaside campsite enjoys a privileged location just 400 meters from the beach, don’t let that stop you from discovering the pretty beaches of Bénodet, just 15 minutes away by car! At the heart of the resort, Plage du Trez is Bénodet’s main beach. Supervised in summer, it is also accessible to people with reduced mobility, and boasts a Mickey’s Club for children’s enjoyment. If you prefer to enjoy the beach in the late afternoon, Plage du Coq is perfect for catching the last rays of sunshine before heading back to the campsite. It’s located along the Odet river, close to the port. If you’re looking for a beach out of the ordinary, head for Plage du Letty and its Mer Blanche, a magnificent lagoon protected from the ocean by the Pointe de Fouesnant. Very natural! However, you can only swim there at high tide.
Bénodet is also the place to enjoy water sports, and you’ll be spoilt for choice! Nautical clubs offer sailing courses and lessons in windsurfing, kayaking, dinghy sailing, catamaran sailing…
A cruise on the Odet, France’s prettiest river
The “prettiest river in France”! That’s how writer Émile Zola described the Odet, the 60-kilometre-long river that rises in the Montagne Noires at Saint-Goazec and flows into the ocean at Bénodet.
From the old port of Bénodet, you can take a guided cruise on the Odet aboard the “Vedettes de l’Odet”, with a stopover in Quimper, the capital of Brittany’s Cornouaille region. In between, you’ll discover magnificent vistas of the wild estuary and its wooded shores, small coves with a false air of unexplored, castles and manor houses and many other landscapes. It’s a romantic cruise that’s also great for kids!

- The Thalassotherapy Center and its à la carte treatments for a little wellness break, lulled by the murmur of the waves.
- The Poulquer menhir hidden in a small wooded valley (between 11 and 13 rue des Sternes).
- The typically Breton chapel of Perguet and its calvary on the roadside between Bénodet and Fouesnant.
- The Musée du Bord de Mer and its permanent exhibition on the history of sea bathing in Bénodet.
- Bénodet lighthouses: the Pyramid Light, the most important structure on the Odet, and the Rooster Lighthouse, named after a submerged rock whose unusual shape is reminiscent of a rooster.
